Twenty-five minutes before the end of tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, some of the results were revealed. Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke were announced as being in jeopardy of going home, as were Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev. These results were delivered just before the first team dances of the season. Along with the results tonight, it was revealed that several former champions from Dancing With the Stars, including Alfonso Ribeiro, will return next week to participate in trio dances. Later on, two other couples were revealed to be in the bottom of the votes. They were Drew Scott and Emma Slater, along with Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And, the first couple announced as safe out of the four bottom pairs was … Drew Scott and Emma Slater, followed by Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke. So, it was down to contestants Nikki Bella and Vanessa Lachey. And the contestant who was eliminated tonight was … A SURPRISE DOUBLE ELIMINATION. Both Vanessa Lachey and Nikki Bella were sent home.

Each of the contestants had a killer night tonight for the Halloween episode. Frankie Muniz earned a perfect score after delivering a performance to the song “Somebody’s Watching Me” with pro partner Witney Carson. Drew Scott showed great improvement in his dance, though he and partner Emma Slater suffered a smalls tumble, falling to the ground. Victoria Arlen was the first contestant to perform tonight and when her video package was shown, it was revealed that she was very upset about being in the bottom of the votes last week. Fortunately, she was able to carry out a good performance and earned a score of 27 out of 30. Next up was one of the front-runners for the season, Jordan Fisher, and he delivered a flawless paso doble performance. Judge Bruno Tonioli gushed that, “It was the biggest, baddest paso ever! And you are the undisputed leader of the pack. The choreography you managed is insane.” In turn, Fisher attained a perfect score. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev did the jive to “I Put a Spell On You” and received some criticism from the judges. As a result, they earned a score of 24 out of 30, which is on the lower end of the leader board. Vanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy also earned a 24 out of 30 for their routine tonight. Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke performed a tango routine and they earned a slightly higher score of 25 out of 30. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba critiqued, “I think you’re better when there’s a lot of movement … I want you to be able to create motion even in stillness.”

Next up was Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas, who earned a 27 out of 30 for their performance. Stirling nearly didn’t make it tonight as she suffered a very painful injury to her ribs. Though Stirling did well, the judges said they could see the pain affecting her during her dance. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson performed their routine after Stirling and judge Len Goodman commented, “I’m not a fan of horror movies … but that was one and a half minutes of horror and that was fantastic.” Drew Scott and Emma Slater performed their Charleston dance next and received a score of 27 out of 30. Next week is the last episode before the semi-finals, so tune in to ABC on Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT.
