Talking Dead is celebrating The Walking Dead in style, with a two-hour special to commemorate the series’ 100th episode. Tonight’s Talking Dead will premiere at 10:07 p.m. Eastern. It’s going to be an extra long episode, lasting nearly two hours until midnight. Tonight’s episode will be hosted live from The Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Who’s starring tonight? We’ve been told that a full lineup of The Walking Dead stars will join Chris Hardwick tonight for the recap. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Melissa McBride (Carol)
  • Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan)
  • Lennie James (Morgan)
  • Harwick also hinted that “returners” would be there, which likely means beloved guests or actors who died on previous episodes but are coming back to celebrate 100 episodes. This might include Michael Cudlitz (who played Abraham), Steven Yeun (who played Glenn), or Michael Rooker (who played Merle), fans are hoping.

Fans got a chance to attend this episode of Talking Dead. A fan art contest let fans submit artwork in the form of a video, essay, drawing or illustration. The winner received two tickets to watch The Walking Dead premiere in Los Angeles and Talking Dead, plus roundtrip tickets to Los Angeles and accommodations.

Tonight’s Talking Dead might be one of the best in the series yet. Recapping 100 amazing episodes and preparing for what may be the most intense season yet means that there will be a lot to discuss during this live event.
