On last week’s live episode of Dancing With the Stars, contestant Terrell Owens and pro partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated from the competition. Now season 25 enters its semi-finals with five couples left in the mix. Drew Scott is with pro Emma Slater, Frankie Muniz is paired with Witney Carson, Jordan Fisher is dancing with Lindsay Arnold, Lindsey Stirling is performing with Mark Ballas and Victoria Arlen is with pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Last week, each of the contestants performed two dances and their second performances were trio routines, incorporating past contestants from the show. Season 24 champion Rashad Jennings joined Scott and Slater, season 23 champ Laurie Hernandez teamed up with Arlen and Chmerkovskiy, season six champion Kristi Yamaguchi joined Stirling and Ballas, season 19 champ Alfonso Ribeiro got together with Muniz and Carson, season 17 runner-up Corbin Bleu partnered with Fisher and Arnold, and season 1 champion Kelly Monaco joined Owens and Burke in the ballroom.

Going into tonight’s semi-finals, one of the contestants will be sent home based on last week’s scores. Last week, front-runner Jordan Fisher got a perfect score of 60 out of 60 for both of his performances. The other scores from the night were a 54 out of 60 for Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas, a 53 out of 60 for Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson, a 51 out of 60 for Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke, a 48 out of 60 for Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy and a score of 47 out of 60 for Drew Scott and Emma Slater. With Drew Scott and Victoria Arlen so close in score, there’s a good chance that one of them will be going home tonight. Each of them have been in jeopardy with the possibility of being eliminated before on the show. But, with the show narrowing contestants down for the finals, one of them is sure to be packing up their dancing shoes.

Last week on the show, Frankie Muniz joked to pro partner Witney Carson that he would take off his shirt for a performance if they made it to week 8 or 9 in the competition. Well, they have made it now to week 9, so will Muniz make good on his word? Pro dancer Lindsay Arnold recently injured her knee during rehearsals with troupe dancers for tonight’s show, so there is a chance that Arnold may not be able to dance with celebrity partner Jordan Fisher this evening. Arnold discussed the injury with Entertainment Tonight and revealed that, “It felt like my whole leg gave out and stopped working. It’s frustrating because it’s the semi-finals and I want to dance it with Jordan. And I hope this doesn’t stop me from doing that.” Hopefully, Arnold will be able to perform with Fisher and it won’t affect their connection with the viewers at home. In the meantime, pro dancer Sharna Burgess is reported to be learning their routines in case she needs to stand in for Arnold.
