Corey Feldman says actor John Grissom sexually molested him in the 1980s while Feldman was at the height of his fame. Feldman finally named his alleged abuser during an appearance on Dr. Oz’s TV show on November 2. Later in the show, Feldman and the doctor called local police to report the crime. Throughout the performance, Feldman was flanked by his wife, Courtney Anne Mitchell. Feldman expressed his anguish that Grissom maintains social media pages that show photos of the child star. Grissom is just one of the people named. Feldman says that he was molested my multiple people during the 1980s.

Grissom used the name John while acting, but his full name is Cloyd Jon Grissom, and he has gone by Jon Grissom.

1. Grissom Was Feldman’s Personal Assistant & Feldman Says Grissom Gave Him Crack During That Time

According to Jon Grissom’s IMDb page, he has only ever appeared in two movies. Both of those starred Corey Feldman. One was License to Drive from 1988 and the other was Dream a Little Dream in 1989. The latter saw Grissom act with Hollywood heavyweights Jason Robards and Harry Dean Stanton. Both films also starred Feldman’s friend, the late Corey Haim. Feldman said during an appearance on Megyn Kelly Today that it was Haim who suffered the worst abuse. Haim’s abuser has previously been named by Feldman under the pseudonym “Tony Burnham.”

Grissom had been previously identified by Feldman under the pseudonym “Ron Crimson” in the his book, Coreyography. Feldman said Grissom had been a family friend before being elevated to a role as the actor’s assistant. Feldman accused “Ron Crimson” of supplying drugs, including crack, to the young actor. He wrote of Crimson, via the New York Post, “It was almost eerie how similar we were. It was as if he had studied me and was copying my every move.” The Stand by Me star said that after taking a “concoction” of pills that Crimson had supplied, the assistant performed oral sex on Feldman.

In his book, Feldman said, “I don’t know why I couldn’t confront Ron, but I was consumed with guilt. I felt like the whole thing was my fault. I desperately wanted him to stop, but I was afraid of losing my friend.”


2. Feldman Says Grissom ‘Still Flaunts’ Their Relationship Through Social Media Postings

Grissom has a MySpace page that shows photos of him with Corey Feldman during the 1980s. Corey Haim is also featured in pictures. On Dr. Oz, Feldman said, “This guy, on his MySpace page and his Facebook page, has pictures of me and Corey Haim. He still taunts it and flaunts it.” Feldman sent a message to police during his appearance on the show, “I’m going to give you the names of everybody… everybody I’ve got knowledge of, and I would like you to start putting pressure on all of them.”

On Grissom’s Facebook page, he says that he lives in Mazaltan, Sinaloa, in Mexico. The page says that Grissom attended Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona. Feldman told Dr. Oz about what he knew of Grissom’s whereabouts, “They’re living in Mexico. I found that out a week and a half ago. I had a very lovely fan – I don’t even know that they’re a fan or just somebody that cares about this topic. But somebody on my Twitter feed posted a video saying, “This is the guy.” In November 2016, Grissom also shared a photo of Feldman on his page.

The last visible post on Grissom’s Facebook page reads, “Sorry family for not saying I miss and love you for most it’s been over 10 years I do very much!!! Jon.” After Feldman’s allegations, Grissom’s Facebook page became a magnet for those eager to send him abuse. One defender of Grissom wrote, “He is my family and I would appreciate if you keep your comments to your own page. My grandmother is 80 years old and loves her son dearly and doesn’t deserve to have to see these comments…Please be considerate.”


3. Grissom Has a Child Sex Abuse Record

Online records show that Grissom has record for performing lewd or lascivious acts with a child aged 14 or 15 years old. Those records for Grissom give his full name as Cloyd Jon Grissom. That arrest, in 2001, saw Grissom serve time in 2003.

Grissom was also arrested in Utah for an unknown crime in 1995. That arrest record gives his place of birth as Alaska. In 2000, Grissom spent three months in prison in Arizona for credit card theft, unlawful means of transportation and resisting arrest.


4. Feldman Says He First Told Police About Grissom in 1993 When Detectives Questioned Him About Michael Jackson

During an interview on Megyn Kelly Today, Feldman said that he first told police about the abuse in 1993. The actor said, “In 1993, I told the Santa Barbara Police Department, when they came to interrogate me about Michael Jackson, when they came to convince me that he was a pedophile. And I said he’s not.” Feldman had earlier said that he told police about the “ring” involved in pedophilia in Hollywood but that officers did nothing. The Lost Boys star wrote in his book that it was with Jackson that he felt truly safe after years of abuse in Hollywood.

In an appearance Dr. Oz, the doctor challenged Feldman on this saying that the actor never named names. The doctor said, “I called the Santa Barbara Police, just got off the phone with them. As you were speaking I was speaking. You claim that you spoke to them about your abuse in 1993 just to be clear… And you named names. I listened to the recording and I did not hear you name names.” Feldman said that the officers turned off the recording device before he said the names.

In a statement from public information officer Kelly Hoover, the Santa Barbara Police Department said, “We are aware of the statements that Mr. Feldman is making regarding an investigation in 1993. Our records do not indicate that he named any suspects. If he has any information regarding a crime or crimes that occurred, we encourage him to contact our office or his local law enforcement agency.”


5. Feldman Is Trying to Finance a Movie About the Abuse He Suffered

Feldman is still trying to raise $10 million in order to finance a movie about the abuse he suffered. The actor has said that this will be a feature length movie that will be in studios. At the time of writing, the project has raised a little under $200,000. Feldman writes on his Indiegogo page:

We are asking for friends, fans, family, industry peers, and people from all walks of life who may not know who Corey is or what this story is about, to all help pitch in, at fighting back against the Hollywood system, the best way a man created in the system, knows how to defend himself; by telling his truth through his art.

Haim’s mother has objected to the movie, according to the Daily Beast, saying, “He doesn’t need $10 million to do it.” Though she added that she supported Feldman’s advocacy and willingness to name names.

Feldman first made the pedophile ring allegations in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
