Jennifer Flavin is the wife of Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone. Born in 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, Flavin and her six siblings, sisters Tricia and Julie, and four brothers, Tom, Pat, Shannon, and Mitch, grew up in San Fernando Valley, California.

After losing her father at age 12, Flavin realized that she needed to take care of herself — and that meant that she needed to work.

“I knew that if-God forbid-anything ever happened in my life, I needed to know how to take care of myself. I stayed really focused because I didn’t have a backup plan. I had to work, I had to make money-I had to support myself,” she told Haute Living in 2007.

Flavin has worked as a model, actress, and an entrepreneur. She met Stallone in the 80s and dated him on and off for several years. She currently has her own skincare line (she is the co-founder), which she often promotes on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).

On Thursday, November 16, the Daily Mail posted an article about Stallone being accused of sexual assault by a 16-year-old girl. The claim first surfaced a few years ago, but is likely being brought to light now because of the other sexual assault accusations against men in Hollywood.

The female involved told Las Vegas police that Stallone and his bodyguard Mike De Luca “intimidated” her into having sex with them at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel.

“The actor, who was 40 years old at the time, met the teenager while he was filming at the former Las Vegas Hilton hotel and she was given keys to his room. Stallone allegedly had sex with the girl, telling her she was ‘very tight,’ before asking the minor if she had ever had sex with two men at the same time,” the Daily Mail reports.

Stallone has denied the allegations, according to TMZ, his rep saying that the alleged encounter “never happened.”

The female’s name has not been released.

2. Flavin Married Stallone in 1997 & They Have 3 Daughters Together

Flavin and Stallone met at a West Hollywood restaurant back in 1988. The two dated casually for about a decade. According to People Magazine, the two have been very supportive supportive of each other’s careers over the years.

“One day she was on his arm at the latest L.A. AIDS benefit, another day he was front-row at the Paris fashion shows to cheer his favorite model down the catwalk.”

Flavin and Stallone started their wedding day off at London’s Penthouse Pavilion of the Dorchester Hotel in 1997. The wedding party was then taken to Blenheim Palace where the couple had their marriage blessed by Rev. Roger Humphreys, according to People Magazine. Flavin chose to wear a white Armani gown on her big day. After spending the night at Blenheim Palace, the newlyweds traveled to Ireland for their honeymoon.

“I have had two great things happen to me in the past year: the birth of our beautiful daughter Sophia Rose, and now my marriage to Jennifer, who is a great mother and I know will be a wonderful wife,” Sly said in a statement at the time.

A year before they tied the knot, the couple welcomed their first daughter Sophia Rose  on August 27, 1996, born in Miami, Florida. A year after they said their “I do’s,” they welcomed Sistine Rose in Los Angeles. And, in 2002, Scarlet Rose joined the Stallone family.

“Everything in the house is female. The toys, the housekeeper, all the dogs. The one dog I have that’s male is neutered. I’m next. But I’ve never had more fun. I learnt that from my wife… It took me 19 years to realize she’s always right. I realized that women have a knack, at least Jennifer, for making incredibly erudite, wise, smart decisions. I always leap without looking. She always looks and never leaps. She’s incredibly safe. So now finally, I say: ‘Honey, you make all the decisions. Done, done, done. I trust you.’ I never had that before. Ever,” Stallone told the Telegraph in 2010.

Things weren’t always wonderful for Stallone and Flavin, who ended up breaking up for a short time in the 90s. The couple had been dating for a little over five years when Flavin learned that Stallone was cheating on her with model Janice Dickinson. In fact, many people thought that Dickinson’s daughter, Savannah Rodin, was Stallone’s child. Stallone penned Flavin a 6-page letter and had it delivered via FedEx.

“He sent me a six-page handwritten letter, in pen. It was pretty sloppy,” Flavin told People Magazine. She was completely blindsided by Stallone’s decision to part ways.

“It hit me like a ton of bricks. I had no idea this was going to happen. We talked about us having children, about when I was going to get pregnant. We were already picking names, marking down names that he liked and I liked,” Flavin told People Magazine back in 1994.

“I cried a lot. I called all my friends. And I cleaned my apartment about five times. I had so many pictures and things to get rid of. I was disappointed. You can’t just write somebody off in a letter after six years. It’s not like I was going to try to beg him to come back to me or anything. I just wanted to talk,” Flavin added.

The following year, Flavin and Stallone reunited. They were able to work out their differences and Flavin was able to forgive her now-husband.

Flavin developed acne in the early years of her modeling career and it prohibited her from doing the one job that she needed to make a living. However, Flavin refused to give up. Instead, she co-created Serious Skin Care.

“I never knew there had to be a system. I always thought that putting one product on your face or taking a pill could change everything. And I was wrong,” she told Haute Living.

Over the years, Flavin has made several appearances on the Home Shopping Network (HSN), where she promotes and sells the skincare line.
