‘Talking Dead’: What Time & Channel Is the Crossover Announcement Tonight?

AMC

Tonight fans will finally learn which character is crossing over between Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead. The announcement is going to be made live while Talking Dead is airing, following the premiere of episode 6 of The Walking Dead. But what time should you tune in to hear the announcement?  It won’t happen any earlier than 10:04 p.m. Eastern.

DATE: Tonight, November 26, 2017

TALKING DEAD AIR TIME: 10:04 p.m. – 11:07 p.m. Eastern (9:04 – 10:04 p.m. Central).

Because The Walking Dead is scheduled to be four minutes longer tonight, Talking Dead will be starting at 10:04 p.m. Eastern rather than its regular time of 10 p.m. Eastern. However, that doesn’t mean the announcement will be made exactly at that time. The episode is an hour, so the announcement could happen at any point in time during the episode.

This is a big announcement, and fans have been trying to guess which character is going to be part of the big crossover. Right now, most fans don’t know if the crossover character will be on The Walking Dead or Fear the Walking Dead. However, the plans were accidentally revealed by The Walking Dead’s Twitter account this weekend, and then taken down. The tweet read: “TOMORROW you will discover on @AMCTalkingDead who from #TheWalkingDead will join #FearTWD Season 4! Who do you think it is??”

Now we know the character will be coming from The Walking Dead and joining Fear the Walking Dead. Many fans think it’s going to be Abraham, since the character originated in Houston and current rumors have Fear the Walking Dead filming in Austin. However, Greg Nicotero debunked the theory (but no one is sure if they should believe him.) He said he hasn’t heard any theories that are correct.

Some fans think it might be Rosita or Eugene instead of Abraham. Or perhaps it will be all three of them together. Fans at one point thought it would be Morales, but after what happened to him in a recent episode, that would likely be a bit anti-climactic.

When fans were hoping it would be a Fear the Walking Dead character coming to The Walking Dead, they had hoped for Madison, Nick, or Alicia. Alicia has a strong following from Alycia Debnam Carey’s time on The 100. Madison could give Rick a run for his money. And Nick is a good enough survivor to make it that long. But it looks like we won’t be treated to any of these storylines.
