The docu-series 90 Day Fiance follows couples who carry out long-distance relationships in different countries and they wonder if marriage is the right choice for them. In an official synopsis of the show as a whole, the plot description reads, “Using a visa that allows foreign fiancees of American citizens to travel to the U.S., the men and women experience life in the States with their prospective mates for the first time. Culture and language barriers must be overcome — not to mention the stigma of being thought of as mail-order spouses — but here’s the elephant in the room: The couples must marry before the visas expire in 90 days, or else the visitors have to immediately return to their countries. With the clock ticking, these couples discover if their “happily ever after” is meant to be.” One of this season’s couples is Evelyn Cormier & David Vazquez Zermeno. Cormier, who is a singer, is just 18 years old, so her nine-year age difference from Zermeno is an issue when it comes to outsiders looking in on their relationship. Cormier also has different ideas about life than Zermeno and she hopes to live in her small town of Claremont, New Hampshire once the two tie the knot. The couple also clashed over wedding planning, as Zermeno didn’t think it was considerate to have his groomsman buy their own suits when they were already paying high costs for overseas travel expenses. While Cormier is from the United States, Zermeno is from Granada.
Both Cormier and Zermeno have decided to wait until they get married to have sex, and according to In Touch Weekly, the couple actually tied the knot recently in October 2017. The couple got married in Boston on October 21, 2017. A user on Reddit revealed that, “My student just told me he was going to be missing class to go to a friend’s wedding in Boston. I asked him whose wedding it was, and he asked me if I had ever heard of 90 Day Fiance and said he’s going to David and Evelyn’s wedding. Turns out, he went to the same church as David in Granada when he was studying abroad and was the one who took the engagement pics they showed on Sunday’s episode. Looks like they’ll make it through!” To check out the couple’s short registry, click here. One of the couple’s options is to buy them an Amazon gift card, so they clearly shop online a great deal.
The couple met online and Cormier said one of the reasons she fell in love with Zermeno was because of his Christian values. The two met via social media. Reality Blurb recently reported that Zermeno posted a photo of downtown Claremont, New Hampshire on his Instagram, which leads followers to believe that he may have softened when it comes to Cormier’s desire to stay in the area. Zermeno’s Instagram account is currently set to “private.” Just yesterday, Cormier posted a photo of herself kissing Zermeno and gushing about a trip to Texas. In the caption of the post, she wrote, “@davazer and I had such a fun, whirlwind of a trip to Houston, Texas. This was my first time here and I just wanted to thank everyone who gave us some great restaurant choices to help us have the full Texan experience!!”
