Here’s the synopsis for the movie from Hallmark: “A real estate developer is given the opportunity of his career to transform an old shopping complex into a prime location. Unfortunately, there is one tenant who is holding out—the Christmas shop owner he met by happenstance just days ago.” Hallmark also provided another synopsis here: “After her parents’ retirement, Stephanie Nichols has happily taken the reins at the Christmas Shop, the beloved, old-fashioned holiday boutique they opened 40 years ago. But this Christmas may be the store’s last: a property developer has bought the building and is evicting its tenants. A handsome, real estate-savvy customer named Michael offers to help Stephanie out, only to discover that his employer is responsible for her dilemma. Moreover, Michael’s boss has tasked him with the day-to-day oversight of the new development, a situation that grows ever more awkward as he and Stephanie find themselves falling for each other. Will love win, or will real estate triumph?”

Dave said he was a nervous wreck about the movie. “I’m at the point in my career where I have done this for a very long time, but I would have never thought that I would be acting in a Hallmark Christmas movie! But I love the challenge of something new.”
