Josh Henderson stars as Heath on Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas. The talented actor is well known for starring in the series The Arrangement, where he played Kyle West. He's also well known for playing J.R. Ewing's son on the rebooted Dallas, a series that ended far too soon for its fans.
Here is Henderson's official bio from Hallmark.
"Nurturing an impressive body of work that encompasses film and television, Josh Henderson has positioned himself as one of Hollywood’s most promising talents as his career continues to evolve with exciting and challenging projects.
"Henderson recently starred in the drama series “The Arrangement,” in which he played Kyle West, the most famous movie star in the world who offers an unknown actress a contract marriage. He also portrayed the son of JR Ewing alongside an all-star cast in the TNT series “Dallas,” the updated version of the beloved ’80s drama. In addition, Henderson won over audiences as Austin McCann, the bad-boy nephew of Nicolette Sheridan, in the popular series “Desperate Housewives,” and he starred on FX’s critically acclaimed Steven Bochco series “Over There,” playing an ambitious young soldier coping with the tragic consequences of the war in Iraq. His other television roles include a recurring role on The CW drama “90210” and guest starring roles on some of primetime’s most popular shows including “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
"Segueing effortlessly between the big and small screen, Henderson starred in the psychological thriller, "Rushlights," opposite Beau Bridges, which debuted at the Montreal Film Festival. The film is premised on a pair of lovers who scam to steal an inheritance yet find themselves on the run in a small Alabama town. Henderson also starred in the independent action-thriller "Swelter," based on four escaped prisoners stuck in a small, unbearably hot town where they are in search of the fifth man who fled with over ten million dollars.
"Other recent film credits for Henderson include Disney’s feature "Step Up!" about a delinquent teen given a second chance, as well as Paramount’s "Broken Bridges," in which he shares the screen with fellow Oklahoman and country music superstar Toby Keith. Henderson made his feature film debut in New Regency’s "The Girl Next Door" alongside Elisha Cuthbert, and he also appeared in Sony’s remake of the family comedy "Yours, Mine & Ours" with Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo. His other film credits include the thriller "Fingerprints," "The Jerk Theory" and "April Fool’s Day."
"A native of Texas, Henderson was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Los Angeles after winning a talent search for The WB’s reality show “Pop Stars.” He continues to write and perform music."

Recap & Looking Ahead: The synopsis for Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas reads: "Based on the song by Blake Shelton and the book by Dorothy Shakleford and Travis Thrasher. It’s the last Friday before Christmas in New York City and a massive storm is brewing. Small-town business woman Cara Hill is meeting with her banker while country music star Heath Sawyer is playing Madison Square Garden. When the flight to Tulsa they’re both booked on is canceled, this unlikely pair of strangers winds up traveling together. Each has a secret — Heath hasn’t written a song since his father died, and Cara’s mother recently passed and her family’s jam business is failing. Will Christmas provide a miracle — and a chance at love?"
Another synopsis reads: "Cara faces a bittersweet Christmas since her mother’s passing. Flying to Oklahoma, she meets country singer Heath, facing a tough holiday too since his father’s death. He doesn’t acknowledge his fame, so Cara feels duped when two attractive women rush him. As weather keeps thwarting their way, Cara and Heath share their losses, and as they head toward their separate Christmases, they grow close. But when Cara sees a tabloid linking Heath with a model, and he unwittingly offends her dad by offering financial help, it looks like it might take a Christmas miracle for this couple to find harmony."
