The season finale of Teen Mom OG airs tonight on MTV, which makes fans wonder about when the show will return. When are the OG girls coming back? Well, the finale may be tonight, but there is still the reunion, which is ready to air and it will broadcast, starting December 24, 2018. As for the season 8 premiere date, it has not yet been released.

Even with Teen Mom OG‘s season coming to an end, the cast members often return for after shows and specials in between seasons.

Though Teen Mom OG‘s new episodes are winding down, season 9 of Teen Mom 2 may be coming up soon, according to The Inquistr. A source told Ashley’s Reality Roundup that, “As of right now, Season 9 will start airing in January. MTV is very happy with how [Teen Mom 2] performs so they want to lock things in. They may choose to extend Season 9 even more, beyond these extra six episodes, too.”

Teen Mom 2 is starting up mid-January 2019 and The Inquistr reported that MTV has even called for additional episodes to be added to the new season. So, it sounds like the new season could be filled with some good entertainment. Some of what to expect on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2 is Leah having a new boyfriend and Jenelle having issues with her husband in their marriage.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, some of what is included in the trailer for season 9 of Teen Mom 2 is the birth of Chelsea Houska’s third child, Leah Messer’s boyfriend Jason Jordan, and Jenelle Evans’ 911 call after an alleged assault by her husband.
