The 10 acts in the finals were Marcelito Pomoy, Angelina Jordan, Hans, Silhouettes, Boogie Storm, V. Unbeatable, Alexa Lauenberger, Sandou Trio Russian Bar, Duo Trascend, and Tyler Butler-Figueroa.

The finale kicked off with a special performance from KISS, before launching into a video recap of the season and the finalists’ last acts in the competition.

Then, cabaret act Hans introduced some of his fellow finalists (Boogie Storm, Marcelito Pomoy, and Sandou Russian Trio) to the stage for a joint performance of “We Are the Champions.” The number showcased their incredible talents and allowed for a few minutes of camaraderie on an otherwise competitive night.

In a pre-taped video package, AGT brought back young Australian comedian JJ Pantano for a “The Late Late Pass” sketch in which he took turns interviewing and roasting each of the judges.

Dance troupe V. Unbeatable was joined on-stage by a special performance, accompanied on the drums by Blink 182’s Travis Barker.

For another joint finalist performance, Angelina Jordan sang “Somebody You Loved” while Tyler Butler-Figueroa accompanied on violon and Kseniya Simonova played piano.

Next, violin legend and former AGT contestant Lindsey Stirling played the violin while the shadow-play dance group Silhouettes performed.

Shin Lim and Colin Cloud combined forces to deliver a mind-blowing close-up magic and mentalist act. Viewers were then treated to another performance by a past AGT winner, when season 14 victor Kodi Lee sang and played piano to “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles.

Finally, with only 30 minutes left in the episode, it was time for the Top 5 to be revealed.
