Jeremiah White is one of the 11 singles who are ready to mingle on Love Island season two, which premieres Monday, August 24 with a special two-hour episode airing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Ahead of the premiere, here’s what you need to know about him.
He’s Going to Win Over the Ladies With His Southern Charm
According to his CBS profile, Jeremiah is a big flirt who is going to win over the ladies on the show with his Southern hospitality and charm.
He grew up on a farm in Mississippi and is “looking for that special someone he can bring home to his mom.”
If he wrote his own dating profile, it would read, “My name is Jeremiah White. I’m 22 years old, pretty laid back, but very outgoing. I like personality and good vibes. Anything that brings a good time” and he says his celebrity crush is Keri Hilson because “she is gorgeous and she has a little spice.”
Jeremiah Is a Country Boy
In his video interview, Jeremiah calls Love Island the “biggest thing” he’s ever done because he’s just a “little boy from the country.”
“This is my first time being in Las Vegas. I’m a little boy from the country, man. I like to fish, I like to hunt, I like to ride four-wheelers. That’s me,” he says.
He also says he loves a girl who is “goofy” and can be herself around him.
“I feel like the person you’re dating, that should be like your best friend. That’s it, that’s what I’m looking for,” says Jeremiah, adding, “Physically, I go for the shorter girls. I like ’em with a little booty on ’em.”
Finally, he says he brings “a good personality, good energy” to the villa.
“I’m the type of person everybody loves to be around. I can talk to a tree. I’m pretty confident in who I am. I feel pretty good about going in here. I like a little competition, so bring it.”
The Love Island Format & App
The romance begins when a group of single “Islanders” are thrown together in a villa on top of Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel, The Cromwell in Las Vegas. They will be embarking on a journey of dating, romance and ultimately relationships. Every few days the Islanders have to pair up, and those who are not coupled up are at risk of being “dumped” from the island. Challenges abound with intriguing new islanders arriving and dramatic twists at every turn.
In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner, who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize.
Fans can truly immerse themselves in the experience by using the Love Island app for around-the-clock content, messages, and all the gossip from inside the villa. Users get a say in who is hot and who is not, can stir things up by deciding who stays and who goes packing, and will receive exclusive updates straight to the palm of their hand. The app is available on Android and iOS.
Love Island airs every night at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, with a two-hour weekly recap show airing Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 10 pm. ET/PT.
