According to her CBS profile, this 27-year-old is a “small-town girl from Michigan with a big personality” who hasn’t been in a relationship for over six years. She’s “ready to find ‘The One.'”

It also says her friends and family would describe her as “weird, funny, and outgoing” and “someone who has a carefree spirit, is loyal, understanding, and adventurous.”

Five years ago, she decided to move to Las Vegas “with no money or a plan,” but it looks like things have turned out alright for her. Kaitlynn’s celebrity crush is Leonardo DiCaprio, she is obsessed with murder mysteries and always wanted to be a detective, and her self-written dating profile would say, “I enjoy bad food, dogs, festivals, Pilates, cooking, and adventure!”

She’s Not Interested in a Guy Going After Another Girl

In her preview video interview, Kaitlynn says she thinks she “definitely intimidates men” because she comes on “pretty strong.”

But she’s “ready to give the right man the world,” adding, “I’m not asking for too much, I’ve just been asking the wrong person.”

Kaitlynn also says she’s “into more of the manly man,” like a farmer who is all sweaty. She also says that instead of going on Zoom dates during quarantine, she’s been spending her time “drinking and eating.”

“I feel like being in Love Island, you’re in such a unique situation where you’re almost forced to find a connection and hopefully everybody will be here to find love. I don’t need a guy that I go after wanting to go for another girl, but if he does, there’s something wrong with him and I don’t want him anyways,” said Kaitlynn, adding, “I kind of have a little bit of everything, so what’s not to love about that?”

The Love Island Format & App

The romance begins when a group of single “Islanders” are thrown together in a villa on top of Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel, The Cromwell in Las Vegas. They will be embarking on a journey of dating, romance and ultimately relationships. Every few days the Islanders have to pair up, and those who are not coupled up are at risk of being “dumped” from the island. Challenges abound with intriguing new islanders arriving and dramatic twists at every turn.

In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner, who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize.

Fans can truly immerse themselves in the experience by using the Love Island app for around-the-clock content, messages, and all the gossip from inside the villa. Users get a say in who is hot and who is not, can stir things up by deciding who stays and who goes packing, and will receive exclusive updates straight to the palm of their hand. The app is available on Android and iOS.

Love Island airs every night at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, with a two-hour weekly recap show airing Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 10 pm. ET/PT.
