Mackenzie Dipman is one of the 11 new singles looking for love on season two of Love Island. If the guys are looking to catch her eye, they’d better have some money to burn because apparently all of her ex-boyfriends are millionaires. Ahead of the two-hour premiere on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, here’s what you need to know about Mackenzie.
All of Mackenzie’s Exes Are Millionaires
According to her CBS profile, this 24-year-old student from Scottsdale, Arizona, has expensive taste in men. “Guys, we hope you have some money in your pockets because all her exes are millionaires,” reads her profile.
It also says that she rescued her elderly dog from a foster home, she loves sports and watches “tons of games,” her celebrity crush is Matthew McConaughey because he’s ” “a version of my dream man—a Southern gentleman with a Texas accent.”
And if she could write her own dating profile, it would read, “Unpopular opinions: whipped cream is not sexy or tasty, disco is the best genre, three cups of coffee a day is good for you, Tom Brady is not the GOAT.”
Mackenzie Knows She’s ‘The Total Package’
In her preview video, Mackenzie says that people always underestimate her.
“The most common thing I hear when people meet me is you are not what I expected,” she says, adding, “They see the blonde hair, the big boobs, the big eyes, the big lips and they think oh, this girl is going to be another dumb blonde joke. But I’m not. There’s a lot more to me.”
One of the things that makes her stand out is her love of sports.
“I can talk sports with the best of ’em. I know a lot more than a lot of guys about sports,” she says. “What I’m looking for is someone who wants to watch the big game, throw back some beers with me, eat some pizza — I’m genuinely looking for that. At this point, I want a relationship, I want a partner, I want a boyfriend.
“I know I’m the total package and if a guy is lucky enough to figure that out, we’ll see how it goes.”
The Love Island Format & App
The romance begins when a group of single “Islanders” are thrown together in a villa on top of Caesars Entertainment’s boutique hotel, The Cromwell in Las Vegas. They will be embarking on a journey of dating, romance and ultimately relationships. Every few days the Islanders have to pair up, and those who are not coupled up are at risk of being “dumped” from the island. Challenges abound with intriguing new islanders arriving and dramatic twists at every turn.
In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner, who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize.
Fans can truly immerse themselves in the experience by using the Love Island app for around-the-clock content, messages, and all the gossip from inside the villa. Users get a say in who is hot and who is not, can stir things up by deciding who stays and who goes packing, and will receive exclusive updates straight to the palm of their hand. The app is available on Android and iOS.
Love Island airs every night at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, with a two-hour weekly recap show airing Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 10 pm. ET/PT.
