Neil Lane himself flew out to Iowa to sit down with Bachelor Chris Soules as he picked out an engagement ring for his fiancee. At the time that Soules was choosing a ring, he said he had not yet chosen his future bride, so it was a bit nerve-wracking. Fortunately, he made up his mind and presented the above beautiful ring to fiancee Whitney Bischoff. A source described the ring to US Weekly, saying:
The ring is a very simple, pretty, and classic ring,” a source close to The Bachelor told Us Weekly. “It’s platinum and diamond, with no colored stones. It has a square-cut center stone with pave diamonds all around the band. The center stone is about 3.6 carats, but when you add in the paves around the band, the ring comes out to be about 4 carats total.
Jewelry designer Neil Lane didn’t reveal the cost of the ring, though a source stated that it’s value was “just under $100,000, about $92,000.” Neil Lane did tell USA Today:
I make these rings with love and compassion, and really hoping that these people stay together. And, what happens afterwards? I don’t know. If they break up, the ring, it goes to ring heaven. There are a bunch of rings in ring heaven and God is watching them — and probably trying them on!
