We’re recapping the final results show, live as it airs, and sharing the performance clips below.

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers for “The Voice” season 23 episode, “Live Finale, Part 2” (May 23, 2023). Do not read ahead if you do not want this episode spoiled.

Who Won ‘The Voice’ 23? Live Results

The finale began at 8 p.m. with a countdown special, where host Carson Daly and the top 5 revisited their performances from the night before’s episode, “Live Finale, Part 1”.

The results came at the end of the episode, with Carson announcing the final placements from fifth to first.

NOIVAS came in 5th place (Team Blake). Sorelle came in 4th place (Team Chance). D.Smooth came in 3rd place (Team Kelly). Grace West came in 2nd place (Team Blake).

Gina Miles has won season 23 of “The Voice”. This marks Niall Horan’s first victory, in his first season as a coach.

Blake was not able to bring home his 10th win as a coach, however Carson revealed that the difference between first and second place was the closest margin of victory in “The Voice” history.

‘The Voice’ Finale (Part 2): All Performances

The live episode began at 9 p.m. with an epic opening number. After Blake made his way to the set for the final time, hi-fiving the entire “Voice” production crew on his way to the stage, season 1 coach CeeLo Green performed a medley of 80s hits, including “Jack & Diane” by John Mellencamp and “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds. Green was joined by former Team Blake members, season 13 champion Chloe Kohanski, season 20 champion Cam Anthony, season 21’s Wendy Moten, and season 22’s Bodie.

Gina Miles and her coach Niall Horan then performed a duet to Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind”.

Next up, viral TikTok rapper Toosii performed his hit, “Favorite Song”.

The second coach-contestant duet of the night was between NOIVAS and Blake, who sang Blake’s version of the Michael Bublé song “Home”, which Blake insists NOIVAS chose completely on his own.

Next, Diplo and Lily Rose graced the stage with their song, “Sad in the Summer”.

Members of the United States Army Field Band performed “I Lived” by OneRepublic, with live harp accompaniment.

The third duet of the night was between D.Smooth and his coach Kelly, who shared the stage with “Slow Dancing in the Dark” by Joji.

The fourth duet was actually a quartet between the three sisters of Sorelle and coach Chance, who sang Five Stairstep’s “O-o-h Child”.

The final duet was between coach Blake and his teammate Grace West, who sang Blake’s song “Lonely Tonight” (originally featuring Ashley Monroe), this time at Blake’s request. According to Carson, this was Blake’s final performance on “The Voice”.

After that, original “Voice” coach Adam Levine and the rest of Maroon 5 performed their single “Middle Ground”, which came out on May 19, 2023, for the first time on television.

More than a dozen former Team Blake contestants, including Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood, came out on stage to send Blake off into retirement with a surprise rendition of Green Day’s “Good Riddance”.
