If you’re like me, you’ve probably got a long shopping list between friends and family to buy gifts for and finding the perfect holiday outfits for your office and family Christmas parties. It doesn’t help that it feels like prices just keep going up and up so your holiday budget seems to get you less and less every year. That’s why these huge sale days can be such a huge help. We just had Black Friday and I was able to practically double my gift-buying budget because of the half off deals I got in on.
In case you missed Black Friday or didn’t find what you were looking for, either for yourself or the folks on your list, Cyber Monday is shaping up to be even bigger with more items on sale and even deeper cuts. This is especially true for women’s apparel this year.
One way to make the most out these sales is to ensure that you’re not going to be slammed by hidden shipping costs. You can get free two-day Prime shipping for as low as $8.25 a month when you pay for your membership annually. Even month to month it’s only $10.99 so if you shop on Amazon twice a month, a Prime subscription pays for itself. If you’re not into commitment but you are into gaming the system, Amazon has a 30-day Free Trial Prime Membership, and will you look at that, it’s just about one month until Christmas. How convenient. Just make sure you set a calendar reminder on your phone for couple of days before your free trial ends so you have the option to end your trial before you’re rolled over onto a regular membership and get charged $10.99. Amazon is really good about that though because if you forget to cancel and you haven’t used your Prime benefits since your trial ended, you can usually get a refund.
If shipping times have you worried, be sure to take a peek at Amazon’s Holiday Ordering Deadlines for a list of all shipping methods and the cut off dates for how late in the month you can order something and still have it arrive by Christmas Eve.

It’s surprisingly breathable while still providing the kind of rain and wind protection you expect from a raincoat. You can fold up and tuck away the hood when you don’t need it in a hidden pocket in the collar which is handy. The front zipper comes up nice and high to protect your neck from rain and wind. Zippered pockets keep your possessions dry and a cinch tie at the waist helps gives the jacket a more fitted, stylish look. Raincoats are great and all, but you never seem to have them with you when you need them.
