Sony is prepping something big. Like, really big.
The image you see above was tweeted out by Sony on July 9. That very same image has caused a ton of speculation as to what it could actually be. Some gaming pundits are pointing to these teaser images as being an impending announcement (July 11) for a new Ratchet & Clank game. What’s causing some folks to back that rumor is the fact that Insomniac Games tweeted out the same image:

Another bit of evidence pertaining to this Ratchet & Clank rumor are the photos below that cropped up on NeoGAF. The Insomniac Games PSN ID can be seen displaying a new title called “Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus:

Could this teaser image be pointing to a new PS4 game? Insomniac Games is has done a ton of work on Sony’s gaming consoles (Resistance series on the PS3). The development studio is currently putting together an exlcusive Xbox One title (Sunset Overdrive).
The PS3 or PS4 just might be getting something massive and brand new from the quality devs at Insomniac.
