WATCH: Official Trailer for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ on Wii U

Nintendo has just released the brand new trailer for its upcoming Zelda game, which has now been titled Breath of the Wild.

The game looks visually beautiful, and it will evidently feature the biggest map of any Zelda game yet. Reggie Fils-Aimé noted on Tuesday that a demo will be shown off later in the day, featuring an area so vast that no one will possibly be able to see all of it during the E3 event. Even this is only a tiny fraction of the overall game.

We can see Link manipulating the environment to his advantage in Breath of the Wild, which it seems will be a significant addition to franchise in this installment. Fils-Aimé said that Hyrule itself will become both the player’s ally and their enemy, and fans are already comparing this to a mix of Skyrim and Minecraft.

It also appears this might be the first Zelda to feature dialogue in a major way, as this trailer includes an unknown voice telling Link to open his eyes.

More of Breath of the Wild will be revealed as E3 progresses.
