WATCH: New ‘Rocket League’ Rumble Mode Coming This September

**Update 9/8/18: Psyonix announced that Rocket League Rumble will be available for download later today.

It’s been just over a year since physics-based vehicular soccer game Rocket League took the gaming world by storm, and today a brand new game mode was announced by Psyonix following the Rocket League Championship Series Live Finals.

Rocket League Rumble, as the game mode is called, will be included free with September’s update (the exact date of which has not yet been announced). It will appear in Online Playlists, as well as Private and Exhibition matches, and pits players against each other for a battle-royale style match in an arena packed with randomized power-ups. There are 11 potential power-ups in total, with each one looking more insane than the last, and all of which are sure to make for an utterly chaotic, ridiculously fun time. They will enhance your car with everything from a boot to a grappling hook, or even a plunger.

Check out the trailer above to see them in action, and read on for the complete list of power-ups and their functions, directly from the official Rocket League site.

The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car)

Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably)

Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place)

Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball)

Haymaker (Punches the ball)

Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car)

Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord)

Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder)

Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it)

Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent)

Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud)

Rocket League is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.
