The Best Deals for Nintendo Switch Games, Accessories and SD Cards

Nintendo Switch, Console

(Nintendo)

The Nintendo Switch released today and for those of you who are looking for the cheapest way to get your games and accessories, we have you covered.

One of the first things you want to do is get yourself some more memory since the console only includes 32GB of space out of the box and that will quickly fill up once you get a few games from the eShop. Luckily, you are able to add your own Micro SD card into the Switch and expand the memory that way. There is only one slot available so I’d recommend you get something big enough to last the entirety of your Switch’s life.

Micro SD Card

A safe bet would to be getting either a 128GB or 200GB Micro SD card. The 128GB card would put you back about $40 on Amazon and it will last you a long time, depending on how many games you buy digitally.

For games, it’s recommended you either get an Amazon Prime membership or a membership to Best Buy’s Gamers Club. Both programs will give you a 20 percent discount on new games, pre-orders included. Best Buy’s program is $30 for two years so if you buy two or three games in a two year span, you’re already saving money. Best Buy will give gamers points on any accessories they buy. Accumulating 250 points will result in a $5 gift certificate.

All current in-stock games for the Nintendo Switch are currently available for 20 percent off for members of either program.
