New updates releasing this month will add the ability to participate in tournaments on Xbox One and allow players to have custom gamer pictures. The full details are available on Major Nelson’s website.
The custom gamerpics will let players upload a custom image to use as their gamerpic. More updates are the ability to join a broadcast of one of your friends who are streaming for easier access.
The first game to make use of the tournament feature will be World of Tanks. Tournaments can be found on Xbox One or the Xbox app on Windows 10. If you sign up for one, you’ll get a notification when your match is ready and you’ll be able to jump straight to the match and get results directly after to use on your profile for bragging rights.
Clubs and looking for group (LFG) posts are getting updated as well. If you create an LFG post, you’ll see new vetting cards that show you particular stats from that game such as kill/death ratio, rank or score. You will now be able to make LFG posts for certain achievements.
These features roll out for Xbox Insider members over the next few weeks.
