Overwatch Uprising End Date Extended On All Platforms

The latest Overwatch event, Uprising, has made a prompt return after ending officially earlier today. In a Twitter post on the official Overwatch page, developer Blizzard announced that players can now reaccess this special event to obtain the seasonal skins, emotes, and sprays. However, it was noted that the actual in-game event known as Uprising is still disabled at the time of writing this, meaning you cannot play the PvE (Player vs. Environment) mode that originally released with this new content. Community Manager Lylirra explains that “…the process of re-enabling the brawl will take a few hours to complete as well as a small update.”

For those looking to cash out all of their hard earned coins, you are now able to purchase the various new alternate outfits that came with the Uprising event. These include younger versions of the various heroes including Genji, McCree, Mercy, Torbjorn, and Tracer. All of the epic skins will cost 3,000 coins with the legendary skins fetching 750 a pop. You can also still purchase the special Overwatch loot boxes if you are strapped for coins and really want to try and get these skins before they’re gone.

Overwatch Uprising is now scheduled to end May 2 at 5 pm Pacific time.
