When roaming through the deserted, bloody halls of Prey, players will want to have a weapon that can even the odds. One of the best guns to take down Phantoms and Mimics is the shotgun, which can be found in a different location than what was offered in the demo. To obtain this boomstick, make your way to the Talos I Main Lobby and then head to the back left. Ascend the staircase to the second floor and then hack your way into the I.T. room. If you are in need of a Neuromod, one can be found in the TranStar Exhibit on the first floor.
Once inside take out the two Phantoms that are relaxing near the explosive canisters and grab the Security Room Keycard on the table in the office. Head back downstairs and go to the right side and enter the side hallway. Follow this until you reach the door to the Security Station, swipe the keycard and enter the room. You will be able to find the shotgun on the desk to your right along with some much-needed ammo. This is one of the weapons we recommend upgrading first as the sheer amount of stopping power it poses can really save your life in Prey.
