WATCH: ‘Destiny 2’ Zavala’s Prelude Trailer

Bungie and Activision have given us a new trailer today showcasing Commander Zavala.

This is the same video we saw at the beginning of last month’s gameplay reveal but now it has been released as a standalone trailer.

The description of the video is as follows:

On the eve of an attack on our home that begins a new adventure, this reintroduction to the world of Destiny asks: “What makes a Guardian, a Guardian?” New legends will rise to join the ranks of the heroes who have sworn to protect humanity.

We have some major details regarding the upcoming release of Destiny 2. We know details such as the console version running at a capped 30 FPS while the PC version will feature an unlocked framerate and a wide variety of graphical options you’d expect for a PC game. If you want to learn more about our PC impressions you can click here, and if you want to know everything we know about the PC version, you can click here.

Players were also given a look at new super abilities for the Warlock, Hunter and Titan classes. It is unclear if these new supers would outright replace the old supers.

During the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal, players got a glimpse at new guns, super changes, and a reconfigured weapon system. Many of the weapons looked to remain true to their Destiny 1 form but we got a look at two great looking firearms, the grenade launcher and a chaingun that could shred through waves of enemies. At last month’s Destiny 2 gameplay reveal, we had a hands on look at the game and we able to capture gameplay from the PS4 version. Destiny 2 is coming September 8 for Xbox One and PS4. A PC release date has not yet been announced.
