E3 2017 Ubisoft’s Conference: Start Time and What to Expect

far cry 5, far cry 5 controversy

E3 2017 is in full swing and there have already been some great reveals and exciting moments for the fans and press alike. One of the most notable conferences will, of course, be Ubisoft, who are notorious for odd shenanigans such as stage dancers and big gameplay showcases such as the Eagle Flight demo.

If you are looking to watch the Ubisoft conference as soon as it starts, make sure to tune in Monday, June 12 at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST. Ubisoft is aiming to have an incredibly strong showing this year, with titles such as Far Cry 5 and Assassins Creed Origins leading the charge. We should also expect South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which had a very lengthy showing last E3 with creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. This RPG has been rather reserved since it’s E3 showing, so it will be interesting to see what new information we get during the Ubisoft conference.

Of course, one of the biggest focuses will be Far Cry 5, which caused some serious waves when it was revealed a few weeks back. Set in Hope County, Montana players take control of a new deputy that’s tasked with disposing of a dangerous doomsday cult that has been terrorizing the area. No real info on the gameplay is known outside of some basic mechanics, so one can hope that Ubisoft gives us a full gameplay demo.

Mario x Rabbids

The other massive title that will certainly get some screentime is Assassins Creed Origins, which was officially unveiled during Microsoft’s E3 conference on Sunday. Viewers got a lengthier look at what this game was going to offer such as being able to control a hawk and a more fluid combat system. We know that players will get to experience the beginning of the Assassin Brotherhood and how this deadly organization was created.

Other games to watch out for include Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, which has received rather mixed reactions and some new info regarding For Honor. However, what will be interesting is if Ubisoft decides to double down on their multiplayer title The Division, which has consistently appeared during Ubisoft’s conferences since its announcements.

Either way, make sure to tune into this stream if you are looking forward to games like Assassin’s Creed or Far Cry.
