Here Are the Best Deals of 2017’s Steam Summer Sales

Hitman 2016

It’s that time of the year again and Valve’s PC platform Steam has already launched a ton of fantastic deals on various games. While this has been an annual event for years now, it still has the power to draw tons of users to purchase some of the best video games available for shockingly low prices. We will not be counting Early Access titles or pre-orders, as we are opting to focus on fully released games.

Indie and Triple-A games will be included, however, given how cheap a lot of independent games can be during a Steam Sale we are going to be very selective with what’s chosen. We will update this list as the sale progresses. Here are our choices for the best 2017 Steam Summer Sales:

  • Mafia III – $14.79
  • Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition – $3.99
  • Abzu – $5.99
  • Football Manager 2017 – $16.99
  • 7 Days to Die – $9.99
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III – $29.99
  • Darkest Dungeon – $9.99
  • Hitman: The Complete First Season – $23.73

  • Total War: Warhammer – $20.39
  • XCOM 2 – $19.79
  • Sleeping Dogs – $5.99

Now, of course, these aren’t the only deals available for Steam’s Summer Sale, however, these are some of our favorites. As the week progresses we will constantly update this list when we find new ones that people should absolutely nab. Some of our current favorites are the Valve Complete Pack, Bioshock: The Collection, Payday 2: Ultimate Edition, and Shadow of Mordor which are all insanely lower than their current retail price.

While it’s rare for a lot of Triple-A titles to sell beyond 50% their mark-up, this is still a great price for those who are looking for new games to buy. However, if you are on a budget consider checking out the indie section as those titles typically go for way less and are more affordable than some of the bigger titles on our list.

Also, there is a large number of anime movies and television shows currently on sale via the Steam Video Hub. This might be worth checking out if you are not impressed by any of the games currently offered in this event.

Valve’s 2017 Steam Summer Sale ends on July 5.
