There are a lot of fighters in Tekken 7’s roster, but one of the most interesting is the ancient vampire known as Eliza. Believed to be over a 1,000 years old, this powerful being is able to dole out a ton of punishments to opponents both up close and from range. While she was announced back in January, Eliza is actually not part of the base roster for Tekken 7. Acting a pre-order bonus (Like Darkseid in Injustice 2), Eliza is only obtainable if you pre-order the game.
Currently, there is no way to unlock Eliza in Tekken 7 itself regardless if you beat the game, play on a higher difficulty, complete a set number of Treasure Battles, or earn a specific amount of Fight Money. What we do know thanks to an official Facebook response is that Eliza will be available 30 days after Tekken 7’s launch.
Eliza is a solid mid-range fighter that has a decent amount of speed to let her close the gap. Where Eliza differs from other characters is that she has a meter at the bottom left of the screen that will slowly fill up as she either deals damage or sleeps. Having her fall asleep can be achieved either manually or at the end of certain attacks. While you can block while doing passed out, Eliza is quite vulnerable in this state. Once the Blood Guage is full, Eliza can unleash a powerful super move that deals heavy damage.
This marks Eliza’s second appearance in this franchise after her debut in Tekken Revolution back in 2013. Once you have pre-ordered Tekken 7 you can go straight to the roster and play her without any issue. All of Tekken 7’s fighters are unlocked from the beginning so you won’t need to jump through any more hoops to play this sleepy vampiric brawler.
