Fire Emblem Heroes Nohrian Summer Heroes Announced

Loved the Ylissean Summer heroes and wanted more swimsuit-clad heroes? Well you’re in luck because the Nohrian Summer heroes were just announced for Fire Emblem Heroes.

Just like the previous summer heroes, Nohrian Summer heroes take existing heroes and don them in swimsuits with new weapons and skills. This time all of the heroes are Nohrians from Fire Emblem Fates: Female Corrin, Elise, Xander, and Leo.

Elise ditches her horse for a green tome known as Hibiscus Tome+, which has a might of 12 and grants allies withing two spaces one extra point in attack and speed during combat. She also has the support skill of Rally Attack/Resistance, which boosts an ally’s attack and resistance by three points until the end of the turn. She also gets Speed/Resistance which gives her an extra two points in speed and resistance as well as Green Tome Valor, which grants all green tome users on a team twice the SP if she is alive.

Xander also ditches his horse as well as his divine blade for the Lilith Floatie+, which has a might of 14 and grants allies withing two spaces one extra point in attack and speed during combat. He also gets the special skill of Bonfire which boosts damage dealt by 50 percent of Xander’s defense and has a cooldown of three. His skill of Fire Boost gives him six extra attack during combat if he has at least three more HP than the enemy. He also gets Infantry Pulse, which decreases the special cooldown count by one at the start of the turn for any infantry allies with at least one fewer HP than him.

Leo has a new red tome known as the Tomato Tome+, which has a might of 12 and grants allies withing two spaces one extra point in attack and speed during combat. He also has the special skill of Iceberg which boosts damage dealt by 50 percent of his resistance and has a cooldown of three. He also has Seal Resistance which gives opponents seven less points in resistance after combat and Attack Ploy which lowers five points in attack for all foes in the cardinal directions from Leo and who have one resistance lower than him.

Female Corrin, taking inspiration from her dragon abilities, is now a wyvern flier with a blue tome. The Sealife Tome+ has a might of 12 and, you guessed it, grants allies withing two spaces one extra point in attack and speed during combat. She also has Dragon Fang as her special skill which grants 50 percent extra attack with a cooldown of four. She also has Swift Strike which grants four extra points in speed and resistance when initiating combat as well as Fortify Fliers which grants adjacent fliers six extra points in defense and resistance at the start of each turn.

A new Paralogue story is also coming with maps were you fight against the Nohrian summer heroes.

The summoning focus will be available from July 28 at 12:00 a.m. PT to August 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Just like with the Ylissean Summer heroes, the Nohrian Summer heroes are not guaranteed to appear again in a summoning event held in the future.

The heroes were announced on July 27 as part of a news update known as Feh Channel, which also announced new modes, special events, and updates.

The new heroes are reminiscent of the Beach Brawl DLC in Fire Emblem Fates, where royal siblings from both Nohr and Hoshido battled it out to win a summer vacation. Winning the battle with the team you selected rewarded you with a picture of the team’s sibling leader at the beach wearing a swimsuit. In fact, the designs of the swimsuits worn by Xander, Elise, and Leo for Fire Emblem Heroes were taken straight from their appearance in the DLC. The only thing missing is Camilla, who was replaced by Female Corrin.
