One of the new mechanics introduced into South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the ability to take selfies with townsfolk to gain followers. Taking pictures with the townsfolk will allow you to complete challenges and thus earn more loot. It’s critical that you take selfies with as many people as possible, however, some townsfolk will require you to complete a certain task first.
Thankfully some tasks are easier than others such as Grandpa Marsh, who asks the New Kid to go fetch him a condom. Sadly you will not be able to obtain this item until a little later in the game, so continue finishing missions until the Main Street is available to explore. Go to this area and head to the left until you reach the Unplanned Parenthood building. Head inside and speak to the nurse behind the counter to bring up her inventory.
From here, purchase the condom and then head back to Stan’s house which is the first house to the right of Cartman’s. Go inside and speak to Grandpa Marsh to instantly give him the condom so you can take a photo together. Once your selfie is done the condom will be considered “used,” which means if you want to take more pictures with him then you’ll need more condoms.
Remember not every character in South Park: The Fractured But Whole is done for a selfie right away, so try to remember which people you’ve taken photos with. If you ever need to jog your memory just bring up your phone, open Coonstagram and then click “View All Following.” You will then be taken to a menu where you can see every person you’ve taken a selfie with in town. This is a great way to keep a record of which crazy townsfolk you’ve spoken to and which have yet to be honored with a selfie.
