Adam Levine juggles coaching on The Voice, performing music with his band Maroon 5 and being a family man with his wife Behati Prinsloo and one-year-old daughter Dusty Rose. And in recent months, Levine and Prinsloo revealed that they have a second baby on the way. In 2014, Levine told People that he hopes to have a ton of children, exclaiming that, “I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than is socially responsible. We can’t do it right now, but it’s in the works.” Levine also said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he “thrives on chaos” and that Prinsloo also wants a ton of children because she was an only child.
Currently, Prinsloo is in her third trimester and an insider told Us Weekly that Levine “is going to make sure he can take some time off” from NBC’s The Voice in order “to help Behati and bond with the new baby.” While Prinsloo and Levine have not revealed their due date, they aren’t shy about talking about daughter Dusty Rose, who Levine described to Ellen DeGeneres as this: “She’s so sweet. She’s like a little Zen baby, she’s so quiet,” he said. “Which is funny ‘cause her parents, we’re like maniacs. And she just kind of calms us down. She’s very chill.”
In preparation for the new baby, Prinsloo and Levine recently put their $18 million Los Angeles home, that they bought this past August, on the market all ready, according to Guest of a Guest. Just before their daughter Dusty Rose was born, the couple went house-hunting as well. The couple has listed their home for $900,000 more than the original $18 million price tag they bought it for over the summer. According to LA Curbed, the original structure of the home is not in the same condition as when the couple purchased the property. Perhaps the construction is what is making the couple decide to sell. With a baby on the way, they may not want to be caught in a construction zone. The new listing for the house reportedly reads, “the current structure has been taken down to the studs and is ready for a top designer to step in & complete.” Levine also still has a Beverly Hills home “up for grabs” at $15.95 million as well. Last year, Variety reported that Prinsloo and Levine also sold Levine’s one-bedroom apartment in lower Manhattan for $5.4 million to shoe designer Nick Lucio.
When the couple had their first child, Prinsloo told People that it was surprising how much someone could love another, explaining that, “I love Adam, and when you get married and you fall in love with someone, you think that there’s no greater love than that love. And then you have a baby, and it’s just next-level love.” In recent months, Levine was the recipient of his own Hollywood Walk of Fame star and Elite Daily reports that he proudly opened up about his family in his acceptance speech. Levine stated, “I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world. I am one of the luckiest people who has ever lived, and it has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the people who love me the most.”
