Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou is expected to join Gegard Mousasi and Renato “Babalu” Sobral in DREAM’s upcoming light heavyweight grand prix.
MMA Fighting reported the news this morning.
The tournament will kick off on May 30 at DREAM.15. The event hasn’t been officially announced by the Japanese promotion. It will air on HDNet in North America.
Sokoudjou is looking to revive his once-lofty career prospects. After beating Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ricardo Arona in 2007, Sokoudjou signed with the UFC and then Affliction. He went 1-3 with the two companies, but has revived his career with a 2-1 record since signing with DREAM.
