“Strikeforce on CBS” Card Finalized

The second “Strikeforce on CBS” card is official.

Strikeforce today announced five previously-reported preliminary bouts for the April 17 show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. They include Dustin Ortiz vs. Justin Pennington, Cale Yarborough vs. Josch Schockman, Thomas Campbell vs. Cody Floyd, Chris Hawk vs. Ovince St. Preux and Andrew Uhrich vs. Dustin West.

The confirmed preliminary card bouts include several notable names. Yarborough was a contestant on season 7 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” where he lost to C.B. Dolloway in the quarterfinals.

St. Preux is a former Tennessee Volunteers linebacker.

The network-televised broadcast features three title fights. Dan Henderson makes his promotional debut and challenges Jake Shields for the middleweight title in the main event, while Gilbert Melendez defends the lightweight title against Shinya Aoki. Gegard Mousasi and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal meet for the light heavyweight title in the final title match of the evening.
