UFC veteran Saunders signs with Bellator
Welterweight Ben Saunders has made the move to Bellator Fighting Championships.
The promotion announced the signing earlier this week.
Saunders, whose career with the Ultimate Fighting Championship ended following his loss to Dennis Hallman at UFC 117, rebounded with a submission victory against Elijah Harshbarger last November. The win was his first in just under one year. However, he will not be competing in the upcoming 170 lb. tournament.
Still, the man nicknamed “Killa B” will be one of the biggest names to participate in the promotion’s fourth season, which is set to begin this March on MTV2.
