“Strikeforce Challengers 15” draws decent rating on Showtime

Last Friday’s Showtime broadcast of “Strikeforce Challengers 15” drew an estimated average audience of 214,000 viewers for a 0.69 household rating.

MMAjunkie.com reported the figures earlier today.

The event, which took place at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California, featured lightweight prospect Justin Wilcox‘s dominant technical knockout victory over Rodrigo Damm in the evenings main event, while Caros Fodor walked away with a technical knockout victory of his own in the co-main event.

But the two knockouts in the featured contests were not the only dominant stoppages on the card, as Lorenz Larkin and James Terry also earned knockout finishes.

The very impressive amount of viewers ranks fifth for a Strikeforce Challengers show, just edging out “Strikeforce Challengers 12” and the 210,000 people that tuned in for that event. “Strikeforce Challengers 7” remains at the head of the rankings, being the only “Challengers” event to break the 300,000 viewer mark.
