Meanwhile, Strikeforce’s acquisition of Cason brings a heavy-handed striker to the division. He is currently on an eight-fight winning streak, with six of those coming by way of knockout and two coming via submission.
Strikeforce Challenger 17 is set for July 22 and features a main event between Roger Bowling and Bobby Voelker. The event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
