Lightweights collide on June 8
Bernardo Magalhaes and Henry Martinez will meet at UFC on FX 3 in a lightweight bout.
That is according to Magalhaes, who announced the news on his Twitter feed.
Magalhaes debuted in the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger against Tim Means, losing a unanimous decision on the evening’s preliminary card. The loss snapped a five-fight winning streak.
Meanwhile, Martinez also looks to get back on track, as his four-fight winning streak was snapped by Matt Riddle at UFC 143. The loss came via split-decision and was considered by many to be controversial.
UFC on FX 3 takes place June 8 and features a flyweight tournament rematch between Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson. The city and venue have yet to be announced.
