“UFC on FOX 5” set for Dec.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship will be heading back to FOX for a fifth time on December 8.
The promotion did not announce a city or venue for the event, though that information should become available in the coming weeks.
The “UFC on FOX” series began in November of last year with a heavyweight main event between current champion Junior dos Santos and former champion Cain Velasquez. The network deal means FOX will broadcast four events per year for a seven years.
The final event for the first year of partnership, “UFC on FOX 4,” is set for August 4 with a main event between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Brandon Vera.
