Da Silva, Dodson meet in October
A flyweight bout between Jussier da Silva and John Dodson is expected to take place at “UFC On FX 5” this October.

Da Silva makes his UFC debut on the heels of a five-fight winning streak. He was last defeated by flyweight contender Ian McCall back in 2011.
Meanwhile, Dodson earned the title of “The Ultimate Fighter” back at the finale for season 14. He earned a first round technical knockout win over T.J. Dillashaw.
Since winning the 135 lb. tournament, Dodson elected to drop down to flyweight, where he competed against Tim Elliot at “UFC on FX 3.” He earned a unanimous decision victory in the contest.
“UFC on FX 5” takes place on October 5 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The card features a heavyweight main event between Antonio Silva and Travis Browne.
