Light heavyweights added to Nottingham card
A light heavyweight bout between Fabio Maldonado and Jordan Kruth has been added to “UFC on FUEL TV 5.”
UFC officials announced the bout today.
Maldonado last competed at “UFC on FUEL TV 3,” losing to Igor Pokrajac via unanimous decision. The loss was his second in a row, and he finds himself in a must-win situation at “UFC on FUEL TV 5.”
Meanwhile, Kruth is set to make his UFC debut at the event after starting his career with an impressive 5-0 record. All five of those victories have come via stoppage, though he has yet to face UFC talent.
“UFC on FUEL TV 5” is set for Nottingham, England on September 29. The card features a heavyweight clash between Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic.
