TUF: Brazil winners set for UFC 153
“The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” winners Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra and Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira are expected to compete on the UFC’s next card in Brazil.
UFC officials announced the possibility earlier today.
The event, UFC 153, is set for October 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the HSBC Arena.
Both Brazilian fighters earned titles of “The Ultimate Fighter” at UFC 147, though neither had a particularly memorable performance. Each fighter required three full rounds to walk away with a victory.
UFC 153 is still in the development stages, as just one contest has been officially announced, while the location and venue have yet to be completely finalized. A light heavyweight tilt between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Glover Teixeira will take place on the evening’s main card.
