TUF 16 debuts this Sept.
Season 16 of “The Ultimate Fighter” debuts on September 14 on FX.
The season features heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson as coaches and is the second season to air on FX after 14 aired on Spike TV.
But there is one major difference from the past season. While the Friday night time slot remains the same, the live format has been ditched for a taped format, just like all the seasons prior to “The Ultimate Fighter: Live.”
The single-elimination tournament will feature 32 fighters, 16 of which will earn their way into “The Ultimate Fighter” house.
The season will wrap up on December 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada with a heavyweight main event clash between Carwin and Nelson.
