Dos Santos out of UFC 153
Heavyweight Geronimo dos Santos will not be competing at UFC 153 later this month.
UFC officials announced today that he has been removed from the October 13 card, though no reason was given.
Dos Santos was set to meet Gabriel Gonzaga on the card.
Now, with under two weeks until fight night, no word has been passed along as to whether or not a replacement fighter will be found, or if Gonzaga will be competing on a different card.
UFC 153 takes place on October 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, featuring Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar.
