Rockhold out of OKC event

Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has been forced out of his November title bout against Lorenz Larkin.

Rockhold allegedly injured his wrist in training.

The MMA Corner reported the news over the weekend.

Rockhold would have been featured in the co-main event of the November 3 event in Oklahoma City. The card features a heavyweight main event between Daniel Cormier and a yet-to-be-named opponent.

The event has fallen apart to some extent recently. Frank Mir was originally scheduled to face Cormier at the fall event, but he was forced out due to injury. Since then, the promotion has struggled to find a replacement for the main event, but state that Cormier will remain on the card.

No word has been given regarding whether or not Larkin will compete next month.
