Koscheck, Johnson Agree To UFC 106 Co-Main Event

A co-main event bout between Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson is set for UFC 106.

Sherdog.com reported the bout this morning, and sources close to the bout tell Heavy.com that bout agreements are expected to be distributed today.

Koscheck broke the news on his Twitter account on Tuesday night, but did not reveal who his potential opponent would be. Heavy.com has learned that Koscheck planned to reveal Johnson as his opponent on Twitter today.

Johnson (8-2) has won three straight fights in the UFC, including a knockout win last weekend over Yoshiyuki Yoshida. He failed to make weight for the fight, coming in five pounds over the welterweight limit, but told Heavy.com that the miss was due to a mixture of injuries and a weight-cutting method he’d never tried before.
