The XXL Freshmen List has become a hip-hop tradition. Since 2007, XXL magazine has selected the ten best up-and-comers they feel will go on to dominate the genre. Past winners have ranged from such prestigious artists as J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. and Wale to more recent stars like Chance The Rapper, Lil Dicky, and Ty Dolla $ign.
But before the list is unveiled for 2017, fans must cast their vote and decide who will win the hallowed tenth spot. Over the next seven days, the fate of one lucky artists will be solely in the hands of his supporters, and the skills they wield on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and more. You are allowed to vote once every four hours, so once you find the artist who best suits your interests, cast your vote and be sure to keep track of the polls throughout the week.
