Justin Bieber turns 23 years-old today, and the pop culture stratosphere has taken time out to celebrate.

Biebs posted an Instagram photo of himself earlier today, adorned with the caption: “It’s my birthday, and I want is to be a better friend, better brother, better son, and better man.” And while he may have his sights set on the future, plenty of celebrities and close friends have taken this day to celebrate the singer’s successful, at times, controversial past.

YouTube shared its love with a special birthday message, and given that Bieber has three of the top 20 most viewed YouTube videos of all time (“Sorry,” “Baby,” and “What Do You Mean?“) we’d say its a tweet well earned. Plus, the dancing cats are a nice touch.

Bieber was also honored by his roster of musical collaborators, celebrity friends, and even MTV, who chronicle his career with a video compilation.
