How to Stream & Listen to Camila Cabello’s New Song ‘Crying in the Club’

The world is less than 24 hours away from hearing Camila Cabello’s debut single.

Cabello, a former member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, caused a social media uproar on Sunday, May 14th, when she announced the title of her debut album: The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving. Fortunately, given the emotions and meanings conjured up by such a title, Cabello provided a lengthy Instagram post to her fans about where she is at in her life: “The hurting, the healing, the loving is the story of my journey from darkness into light, from a time when I was lost to a time when I found myself again.” Read the full post below.

Cabello added: “To the hurting, thank you for teaching me than even if at night you take me in the deepest depths of the ocean, I will still wake in the morning. To the healing, thank you for the tears. When they finally came, they tasted like God. To the loving, you are even more beautiful than I remember.” Along with this heartfelt post came the announcement that her debut single will be released on Friday, May 19th. The single in question, titled “Crying In The Club,” has will be actually be released tonight on radio and various social media platforms. End 106.5 host Orphan Andrew tweeted confirmation that “Crying In The Club” will premiere tonight at 9:00 p.m. MST time, which translates to 12:00 a.m (or midnight) Eastern time. According to Cabello’s personal Twitter account, “Crying In The Club” will also be available at this time to stream on Spotify, and that it’s currently available to “pre-save” the song so that you will be able to hear it the moment it is released. There is no word yet on when the song will be available on iTunes. Cabello adds that her top Spotify listeners will be gifted with a “Crying In The Club” t-shirt.

The production credits for “Crying In The Club” has already surfaced online, and they prove that Cabello is not messing around when it comes to her bid for pop superstardom. Fellow singer Sia (listed here by her full name, Sia Furler) is one of the song’s eight credited writers, along with Stephen Kipner, Benjamin Levin, and Cabello herself. The song’s production is handled by a stunning roster of hit-makers, including Matt Beckley, Benny Blanco, Happy Perez, and Cashmere Cat, the latter of which previously worked with Cabello on the song “Love Incredible.”

According to Idolator, who reports that it has since leaked online illegally, “Crying In The Club” also features a prominent sample of the Christina Aguilera song “Genie In a Bottle.” The music video, which Cabello has teased on her Instagram account, will premiere on VEVO on Friday at 3:00 a.m. MST or 6:00 a.m. Eastern.
