Ryan Lochte today flutter-kicked Michael Phelps’ legacy in the face when he destroyed his rival in their big showdown — the 400 IM at the 2012 Olympics in London. Lochte won gold and rival Phelps, the ex-golden boy of U.S. swimming, didn’t make the podium.
But it’s not the first time Lochte has made Phelps look bad. Every time these guys are photographed together, the smooth Lochte comes off like a football captain prom king while the awkward Phelps looks like the biggest doofus at band camp.
