A catfight that features a dirty bird has landed a Rhode Island woman in court.
Lynne Taylor of Warwick is neighbors with her ex-husband and his new girlfriend, Kathleen Melker. So this is already a bad idea.

But Melker and the hubby claim Taylor has — in a genius move — trained her pet cockatoo to assail the couple with with streams of profanity lasting up to 15 minutes. A favorite insult of the bird, named Willy, is “whore.”
“Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore! Whore!”
Now, the Providence Journal reports, Lynne has been yanked into municipal court for allegedly violating the animal-control noise ordinance.
We’re not boned up on Warwick law, but we’re guessing the ordinance was designed for yelping dogs chained to trees and not birds trained as verbal assassins in high-stakes catfights.
